Visitor code of conduct
All of us here at the Mander Centre are committed to making your experience with us as welcoming as possible, and providing a safe, relaxed and friendly environment. CCTV operates 24/7 along with manned Security on site. Whatever the reason for your visit to the Mander Centre, its really important to us that each and every one of our visitors feels happy and at home here. Keeping that in mind we have a few simple guidelines that we ask everyone to observe whilst in the centre.
- Please always keep an eye on any children in your care
- Intimidating behaviour of any kind towards other visitors, our staff or our retailers is not acceptable
- If there is a hood attached to your clothing please make sure that it is worn down
- Animals are not allowed, unless they’re assistance dogs or Police dogs (working or training)
- We don’t allow shopping trolleys on the malls
- No dropping litter, except in the bins
- No leafleting, canvassing, conducting third party interviews or surveys unless we give you express permission first
- Selling goods without our permission is not allowed anywhere in the Centre or associated areas. Nor do we permit busking in the Centre or associated areas unless agreed with Centre Management first
- Climbing or sitting on any balustrade, barrier, fence or railing is of limits
- No ball games
- No bikes, roller-blades, micro-scooters, skateboards or similar products
- No swearing, shouting or use of other unpleasant language.
- No inappropriate us of customer lifts or escalators
- We do not allow any filming, photography unless agreed by Centre Management first and permits are in place.
- No throwing any objects, using drones or similar products within the Centre
- Please no running within the Centre or associated areas.
- Shirts, tops and footwear must be worn at all times
- Crash helmets and face masks should be removed upon entering the Centre (unless for recognised religious reasons)
- There is a strict no smoking policy including electronic cigarettes
- Any act of vandalism towards property belonging to the Mander Centre, or our retailers, will be dealt with accordingly and the local Police informed.
This list does not cover everything and we have the right to deny anyone entry whose actions we feel are inappropriate. Anyone who ignores these rules or commits a crime will be denied entry for as long as Centre Management see fit.
But to the 99.9 percent of you who are lovely people and who wouldn’t dream of being the slightest anti-social, thank you for taking the time and trouble to read this and for treating our centre the way you would like your home to be treated! We hope you enjoy your visit.
